HANOI — Win in Hanoi on Saturday. Play in Phnom Penh on Monday.
That’s the pitch for this year’s RPT Championship II Main Event, and it’s a straightforward one. The VND 22,000,000 (USD 845) buy-in event carries a VND 15,000,000,000 (USD 575,000) guarantee, and the champion walks away with more than a trophy — they get a USD 3,000 package to GOP Phnom Penh 2026: The Coiled Path, which kicks off just two days after RPT wraps.
What the Package Actually Covers
The winner gets a USD 1,540 GOP Phnom Penh Main Event seat and USD 1,460 in cash to handle flights and accommodation. The package can be transferred to another player, but only with GOP’s sign-off, and it’s locked to the Phnom Penh stop — no deferring to a later event.
Five Day 1s to Work With
Players have five shots at building a stack before Day 2 on March 27. Day 1 flights run from March 24 through March 26, with two turbo options mixed in for anyone who wants a faster path. The final table is set for March 28 at the Royal Poker Club, 2nd Floor, 195 Kham Thien Building, Dong Da District, Hanoi.
From there, it’s a 48-hour turnaround to Cambodia.
It Worked Last Year
RPT Championship I drew 1,118 entries and generated a VND 16 billion prize pool — well above expectations for a debut series. That edition also ran with GOP, and champion Nguyen Van Dong An used his package to compete at GOP’s first-ever stop, Eden Awakens in Jeju, South Korea.
The formula is the same this year, just with more weight behind it. RPT Championship II runs March 19–30, 65 events on the schedule, and a VND 55 billion series guarantee backing the whole thing.
