Fat Mike Burkett, frontman of the recently retired California punk band NOFX, finished eighth in the $1,100 Seniors event at WPT Rolling Thunder, earning $3,000.
Final Table Run
Burkett, who produced the new NOFX documentary 40 Years of F**king Up, made the final table of the Seniors event at Thunder Valley Casino Resort in northern California. He appeared in the final table photo holding what looked like an egg.
The event drew 75 players for a $75,000 prize pool. Steven Spunt won the title and $25,345.

Back for the Main Event
Burkett also entered the $3,500 WPT Rolling Thunder Championship but busted before the money. He is a regular at the Charity Series of Poker and plans to play the World Series of Poker this summer.
The WPT Rolling Thunder Championship started Sunday and runs through April 1. Jeremy Becker, Brock Wilson, Matt Salsberg, and Marco Johnson are among the players in the field.
