PokerStars' Spring Championship of Online Poker closed its 18th edition with $52,722,892 in total prize money from 919,776 entries across 400 tournaments.
The series ran against a combined guarantee of more than $45 million. Players collected over $8.45 million in first-place money, accounting for 16% of the total prize pool. Six tournaments produced seven-figure prize pools.
Main Events Deliver
All three No Limit Hold'em Main Events beat their guarantees. The $109 Low drew 16,883 entries and generated $1.6 million against a $1.5 million guarantee. The $1,050 Mid attracted 2,673 entries and cleared its $2 million guarantee by more than $670,000. The $5,200 High recorded 443 entries and topped its $2 million guarantee by 10%. The three Main Events combined for $6,576,300 in prize money.
Beyond the Main Events
The $22 Mystery Sunday Special drew the largest non-Main Event field with 16,413 entries and a $328,200 prize pool. The $55 PKO Phased event pulled 14,836 entries across its flights but narrowly missed its $750,000 guarantee.
Three Sunday Million editions ran at buy-ins of $109, $215, and $530. Only the $109 version cleared its guarantee, drawing 10,619 entries. The $215 and $530 editions both fell short, with overlays of $44,000 and $67,500, respectively. Across the full series, 53 tournaments were overlaid, requiring PokerStars to cover $584,276.
