LAS VEGAS — Allen Kessler continued his strong form this March. The mixed-game veteran won back-to-back T.O.R.S.E. events this March, picking up rings at two separate stops and collecting his fifth career WSOP Circuit title in the process.
Kessler opened the month by taking down a $400 T.O.R.S.E. event at the Borgata during the RunGood Poker Series, then closed it out with a victory in a $600 T.O.R.S.E. event at the WSOP Circuit stop in Las Vegas, good for $15,933.

The first win came in a 52-entry field at the Borgata. The tournament finished in a three-way chop, with Kessler, Patrick McCarthy, and Vincent Basilicata each taking home $4,090. The money was split evenly, but the RGPS Passport Ring went to Kessler.

WSOP Circuit Las Vegas: Fifth Ring, $15,933
The bigger score came a short time later in Las Vegas. Kessler worked through a 119-entry field to win the $600 T.O.R.S.E. event, earning $15,933 and his fifth career WSOP Circuit ring. His previous titles date back to 2007 and span multiple formats, including no-limit hold'em and mixed games.
Both wins this month came in T.O.R.S.E., a mixed rotation that replaces the hold'em leg of traditional H.O.R.S.E. with triple draw. Kessler has long been a supporter of the format, and back-to-back titles in the same month underscoring his strength in the format.
